Why Lumino?

Lumino is built on a simple idea: art and craftsmanship can change lives.

It’s a place where people of all ages can explore creativity, build skills, and connect with others.

This is more than a hobby workshop. Lumino works like a small art academy. With guided mentoring and hands-on practice, anyone can grow their creative voice and learn how to make high-quality art.

Mentor

Lumino’s workshops is led by Aleksandar Spasoski a DAAD Prize-winning interdisciplinary Munich based artist with over 30 years of experience in the field of painting, video art, sound, and conceptual art.

A graduate of two Art Academies and the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (AdBK), he has held residencies at the Cité des Arts in Paris and the MCC Cultural Center in New York.

His video work Voyeur was featured at international festivals, including a nomination at Oberhausen Short Film festival. As a painter, he studied under Rodoljub Anastasov mentorship, and his jazz-inspired album Bottling Jazzy received acclaim for its originality from “All about Jazz”. His latest conceptual work, The Ship That Never Passed, was praised by Prof. Dr. Nebojsha Vilic and likened in impact to the Pantheon in Athens.
